Huff Construction is excited to share the latest construction milestones for the Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant in Pacific Grove, CA. This highly anticipated new hotel, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury & Lifestyle Collection, continues to take shape with remarkable progress across all facets of the project.
Project Overview
The Kimpton Hotel will stand on a four-story concrete podium and encompass 95,263 square feet, offering 101 thoughtfully designed guest rooms, including six luxury suites, along with a subterranean parking garage for added convenience and accessibility. The Spanish-influenced architectural style, brought to life by RRM Design Group, creates a timeless yet modern ambiance that will redefine hospitality in the Central Coast region.
Construction Highlights
Recent construction progress includes completion of the exterior roofing and the application of elegant Santa Barbara-style stucco finishes. Our team has also advanced work on the signature courtyard, including its fireplace feature and the central venue center. Inside, we are finalizing drywall finishes, completing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and moving toward tile installation and finish carpentry. Elevator systems are being installed, preparing the building for final interior detailing.
