Framing the Future at Pacific Avenue Senior Homes

The rhythm of progress is beating loudly in Livermore, California!

We are excited to share the latest updates from the Pacific Avenue Senior Homes project, where our teams are making incredible strides. What began as site and foundation work has rapidly transformed into a four-story structure that is now going vertical, changing the skyline of the neighborhood and bringing us closer to delivering essential affordable housing for the community.

Framing in Full Swing

Currently, framing is in full swing. The skeleton of this Type VA wood-framed structure is rising quickly, with walls going up and hallways taking shape. This phase is always one of the most exciting in construction. It’s when the drawings finally translate into a tangible space you can walk through.

The building’s distinct U-shaped layout is becoming visible, designed specifically to maximize natural light and foster connection. Once complete, this shape will cradle a lush central courtyard, which will serve as the heart of the community.

Designed for Community and Connection

This 79-unit community is about more than just housing; it is about creating a home. Working alongside our repeat client, Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA), and the architects at DAHLIN, we are building a space tailored to the needs of seniors.

Future residents will enjoy a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, along with amenities designed to encourage an active, social lifestyle, including:

  • A Central Courtyard: Featuring raised garden beds, lounge seating, and a bocce ball court.
  • Accessibility: ADA-compliant access throughout the property.
  • Convenience: 87 surface parking stalls and secure bike storage.

Building with Precision and Safety

As the upper floors are framed and site work continues below, our team remains laser-focused on our core values: safety, precision, and maintaining a clean job site. Every board placed and every nail driven is a step toward excellence.

The exterior will eventually feature a beautiful mix of fiber cement siding, exposed rafter tails, and decorative brackets, blending modern durability with classic architectural charm.

Stay Tuned

We are proud to be Building Excellence for SAHA and the Livermore community. As we push the pace on framing, we look forward to the next milestones on this impactful project.
